Since January 2020, the Department of Accounting, FEUT is part of a consortium in the framework of Horizon 2020 projects. The title of the project is “Leading Towards Sustainable Gender Equality Plans in research institutions – LeTSGEPs” and aims at implementing Gender Equality Plans in academic and research institutions. The project is expected to carry out its activities within a 4-year period, starting from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2023. The Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, is the only research institution in Albania involved in this project as partner. The other members of the consortium are prestigious institutions from different European countries, the coordinator Institution being Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
For the academic year 2020-2021, several trainings will be organized in the framework of this project. These trainings will be held mostly online and will be organized in four modules:
Module 1: Presentation with the concepts of Gender Equality – organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The scheduled dates of this training are expected to be held from 16/10 to 23/10.
Module 2: The Context of Gender Equality - organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The scheduled dates for this training are expected to be held from 16/10 to 23/10
Module 3: Planning ¬– organized by Max PlanckGesellschaft. The scheduled dates for this training are expected to be held held through: 30/10/2020, 02/11/2020, 04/11/2020.
Module 4: Gender Based Budgeting – organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the University of Messina: The scheduled dates are expected to be held from 10/11 to 25/11.
Participants in these trainings will be members of the working group with the LeTSGEPs project, mentors, administrative staff, interested members of the Universities, and doctoral students.
